We adored everything about you
At first glance you stole our heart
Such a wonderful little boy
And so much fun to have around
Watching you grow into a young man
A better treasure we couldn’t have found
We want you to know how empty we feel
And the pain still cuts like a knife
Everyday that you’re not here with us
Draws more discontentment from our life
Such a shining light and you shined so bright
You were filled with love so pure and true
Until the day comes we are together again
